Born in Lansing, Michigan, I spent my childhood in the Midwest. Art has always been an integral part of my life. I began creating non school related works with house on plywood and cardboard when I was about 10 years old. Upon graduating from High School, my father told me that I had to get a haircut and a job so I enlisted in the Marine Corp.
With an Honorable Discharged from the Marine Corp, I began my formal art studies at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois. In 1974 I transferred to Gonzaga and in 1976 earned my Bachelor of Fine Art Degree.
Since 1976 I have lived and produced work in the Spokane, Washington area; while raising four sons with my wife Audrey. Currently I am a full time Artist with over 225 works in private collections throughout the world.
My works are sensory communications, mostly on canvas, that reflect the Human Experience.
