I explore resistance and resilience in my artwork in different ways. One is cultural, physical resistance and perseverance by women in wars as they carry the burden of armed conflicts. The strength of women under duress is immeasurable and underreported.

The other way of resilience is through nature and renewal, specifically the use of fungi, mushrooms and mycelium to heal, renew our natural environment and ourselves. We are part of nature and we must implement living with it in more harmony:.
